New GS8-12e
Picked up my BTO GS8-12e Tuesday evening from Mojo's Music in Edwardsville, Illinois. I asked for very few changes to the standard GS8 model (gloss finish on both the headstock and truss rod cover, ivoroid binding on the headstock to match the standard binding on the fretboard and body, expression system and a clear pickguard). The guitar is really sweet both aesthetically and musically. The volume and sustain are amazing. I think I've found a great complement to my 2002 cocobolo 814ceLTD and am looking forward to firing it up in the praise band at church on Sunday. And, I've got a Bill Nichols custom TRC on order to make it "mine". I'll post photos when I have the chance.
