Default Surrounded by Jealousy

Last year, I retired after nearly 40 years as a lawyer. The profession (like many, I suspect) has been decribed as a "jealous mistress." Though, not expressly by my wife.
Now in my dotage, I have directed much of my energy to learning to play guitar. A new "jealous mistress," I discovered. And not a cheap one. But, as I play, Rusty, our Pandemic Puppy, usually trots over with a toy in mouth, and firmly "BOOPS" me in the right hand with his nose. Curiously, never the left hand. Like, hey, old man, time to play - with me.
Anyone else have a jealous canine minder?
David

No, I've got a couple of greyhounds that ignore my playing. Just out of curiosity, what guitar(s) do you have?

I get this evil look, when I play too long or work too long on the computer or when a phone call takes longer as both of us like. Otherwise he is a peaceful fellow!

How can I avoid that my pics fall to the side?

Yep, my 1 1/2 yo Brittany can't stand the fact that I have something in my lap besides her. She’ll harass the cat until he gets up and leaves and she tries the same tactic with my guitar. She’s getting better but she still occasionally tries to get up on my lap while I’m playing.

Actually, my dog is the family member who most enjoys my playing. It's everybody else who needs my attention constantly

Months ago we got a new kitten, and she still starts and looks all around when I make the first strum of a practice session.

Old cat doesn't even raise his head anymore.

Your picture seems to show up correctly for me. If they aren't uploading, then the file size likely exceeds the forum's limits.

I think the OP was taking about rotating the picture itself as it does appear to me the orientation is off. Sorry, but I don't know how to post pics here at all.

Congratulations to OP also for finding something socially redeeming in life after almost 4 decades in that profession.

My cat loves Blackberry Blossom… he comes in and sits close whenever I pick it. For some reason he loves Thelonious Monk, too, when I put some of that on the system.

I’ve never known an animal to have discerning taste like that!

My dog likes the blues. Seems about right.

My dog sits across the room, cocks his head to the side, and listens attentively.
