Replacing saddle with bone on my 310ce-need advise
I recently purchased a Bob Colosi bone saddle from our very own Rejoice Music. I have patiently sanded it down to the right specs but I'm quite anxious to replace the saddle for fear of possibly disturbing the balance of the saddle pickup underneath the bridge when I take out the strings all at once.
I would appreciate any tips from 310ce owners who have done it successfully or to any of our experts here. Just wanted to gather some last minute precautionary measures before I proceed. Thanks.

Hi George
I replaced the saddle in my 814ce with a bone saddle from Bob. Trust me, if I can do it, ANYONE can! Just be sure that the bottom of the saddle is sanded perfectly flat and square, and the thickness of the saddle is adjusted or sanded to a point where it fits into the slot snuggly, but not so snug that you have to apply force to push it in. it's a very do-able project.

^Same with me, I'm a disaster with patience-requiring tasks and I had no problems. A flat bottom will be a must especially with a UST installed. I don't have a UST on my 314 but it was an amazing upgrade when all finished.
