Default Help me find a dealer...

I'm new to the forum so bear with me. I know you guys probably get this question a lot, but I do need some help. I'm pretty certain my next guitar will be a Taylor. I'm thinking the W10CE or something like that. I know we can't discuss pricing on the forum. Can you guys tell me where I can get a good deal on one (whether online or through a local dealer)? Any opinions on any of the dealers near me (Portland, Oregon)? I don't need the actual prices just a little direction towards which dealer to check with. Thanks for the help in advance!

Yes, of courseI can find the dealer page on the Taylor website! Are there seriously no dealers who list there stuff online? I need that or an opinion of one of the dealers near me. For example:

"I went to ______ and thought their pricing was goog and service helpful..."

or something like that. Thanks. I have just started looking at Taylors real close and I need to know where I can get the W10CE for the best price. Who should I go to? I have already gone to Guitar Center. They don't have any of the models I want (in fact they never have anything I want nowadays). I'm pretty frustrated!

I am sorry to provide you a too simple info. I live in Georgia, so, I can't say anything specific about dealers in Oregon. I would recommend you to call some dealers in the west and ask them the models you are interested. The list of dealers in Taylor's website has been regularly updated. Or directly call Taylor and ask them which dealers have the models you want. Taylor recently changed their policy regarding internet ad. This means you can search the dealer's websites to see their inventories as well. Then, you can order from out of state and you still get the factory warranty. I got my 2 guitars from 2 dealers in Louisiana and Tennessee.

I have bought my new baby from him and the service was great, and so was the price. Many others here will concur with me on this one.

Jonny,
Go to the Taylor website and it will give you a list of dealers in the area you desire. It's too easy. Here's the link.

Taylors website for dealers list.

Try Buffalo Bros. in Carlsbad, CA or Winter Sound in Gloucester Point, VA for terrific prices and great service. Buffalo Bros. has a 100% of your puchase price trade in policy on any guitar you buy from them when you buy your next guitar.

Thanks for the help guys! I will try those websites! Sorry if I sound kind of harsh, Pollajack. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Perhaps soon I too will be a Taylor owner?!!!

Welcome to the Forum! you won't find any new Taylors listed on the net.

As of July 1 you will find dealers listing their USED Taylors. Taylor prohibits internet sales, you will have to contact the dealers directly by phone or email.

oh yeah, [email protected]

is MY personal fave!

Thanks for letting me know about the prohibited internet sales thing. I wondered if that was the reason why no one listed the prices of new ones. Makes it more difficult to find what I want.

Default Brandon Allen

I have bought four guitars from Brandon Allen of Allen Music in Paducah, KY http://www.allenmusicshop.com (my new 712ce is phenomenal) and he has given me incredible service. I found him through the Harmony-Central website because another customer was raving about him. I consider him a friend as well as my guitar dealer (we met at Nashville NAMM last July) and I tell all my guitar playing friends about his service (as well as great, competitive prices).
