I don't think Brian May has commented in this thread. But just before robandmar's post, I commented that I'd like to play Brian May's guitar.

And there are a few comments from the colorful astrophysicist that I enjoy:
"Most things worth doing are dangerous."
"If it's too loud, you're too old."

I was privileged to be able to play John Denver's Yamaha L-53 back in 2006.
It had been sold to a person that brought it to a John Denver Memorial Gathering in Aspen Co.

My guitar that I would like to play now would be John Denver's Guild Jumbo 6 string that had the double pick guards.

Two guitars that have been lost to time that I would love to play are the guitar that Martin made for Major Kealakai (which was the original inspiration for the.dreadnought) and the guitar that Martin built for Perry Bechtel (which was the prototype of the OM and the guitar that brought us the 14-fret acoustic flat top guitar).

Default Segovia’s Hauser ‘37 or Bream’s ‘73 Romanillos

Two giants of classical guitar and their signature instruments.

I’ve built a few classical guitars, and played quite a few more wonderful instruments both recent, but would really like to have a strum on these two.

The Hauser ‘37 would involved a breach of Segovia’s request that nobody plays it. Quite why he mandated that who knows.

I am a big fan of Stephen Stills acoustic playing. I just want to strum a few chords on his D-45. I am not worthy.

Nick Drake played and recorded EXCLUSIVELY with the Guild M 20. Everyone here is in complete agreement on this fact...or are they???

The 1930 OM-42 (one of two ever made) that's owned by a forum member here. I'd be envious, but he plays it so well that I guess it's in the right hands.

Default SRV!!

I'd love to just hang Stevie Ray Vaughan's #1 around my neck and take a picture with it. Actually playing it would be a dream come true.

I can only think of one guitar that I would like to play that isn't mine.
