Hugh's Room is probably the best venue. Smallish, good sound and sightlines.
There are other places that have acoustic performers from time to time. When you get to TO (I assume that you're not in town at the moment) pick up a copy of the weekly free newspaper ("Now"). It is printed Thursdays & has complete venue listings. There are also several open stage venues, such as the Free times Cafe on Mondays. However, some open stages shut down for July & August.
