Default Yamaha FS5 vs FG5 for singers

I currently own the Yamaha FS5 and it's a wonderful guitar, however, I have been thinking whether the FG5 would have been a better choice. I would love to try both in person but nowhere has both of them close by.

I mostly like to play 60s & 70s folk/pop/rock. Artists like The Beatles, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, etc. I noticed that most of these artists used a dreadnoguht body size. I have heard a smaller guitar body will have more midrange, which is in the same frequency as the human voice and can get in the way. I do feel like the the FS5 is a little harder to sing with than my LL16. I know the LL16 has scooped mids due to the rosewood, but I am also curious if it's because of the larger body size, and that maybe FG5 will have more more of a scooped midrange to allow space for the human voice.

I would like to get other's thoughts and opinions on this.

Here's a recent thread with some good thoughts on body size and vocals.

I cannot contribute much from experience, but at least JT plays an Olson SJ, which is far smaller than a dreadnought.

All I can add is that I tried an LL16 and returned it for an FG5. Totally different sound with the FG5 being much warmer and less chimey. I was torn between the FG5 and the FS5 I played because they both sounded fantastic and played like buttah. But, I had sold my Martin D-18 and wanted another Dread and already own an 00 and OM sized guitar. BTW, I don't miss the D-18 now that I have the FG5. It's a killer!

The FG5 is a really nice guitar for sing songwriter material. The FS5 should be good too, but it has less bass and volume.
