-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Esau911 I went to your web site. Are you non-instrumental? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- wow... what a question.... The church I am currently with is non-instrumental, but I am not... does that make sense? When I was growing up, I didn't grow up in a Christian home. When I went to college, it was at a (non-instrumental) church of Christ college, and that's where I met Jesus and decided to give my life to ministry. I don't hold to a lot of the legalistic teachings, and I personally do praise and worship with my Taylor! Seriously though, I do stuff with Christian churches, Baptist churches, churches of Christ, and all kinds of churches that are truly trying to honor God's word and live for Jesus. Does that answer your question? God bless!

Well I see that you do the bump so you can't be a baptist!
You're answer was fine with me and my guess is that it is fine with the LORD also. I have had some odd encounters with non-instrumentalists. Plucked accompaniment with musical instruments Is found in the New Testament. You got to look at the greek. esau????? 911????????????? Last edited by brooster; 09-11-2003 at 03:46 PM. |

by the way,
esau is because I'm hairy... I came up behind a friend of mine after church several years ago and grabbed him... he just started rubbing my arm and saying "Esau, is that you my son?"... it just kinda stuck. 911 is because that is my official black belt number... i did karate growing up instead of other sports (although I love other sports), and my black belt number was 24911... so I just chopped off the 24 and there ya go... I've had it for years now, and just haven't ever changed it... has nothing to do with Sept. 11th... I've had 911 since I was 15 (over 11 years ago now)

and by the way, you'd better believe it's fine with the Lord... Just because some people see things differently doesn't make them unsaved... some of them might be legalistic, but they can still be saved... it's all between them and their Lord, right?

I have butted heads with the JW's, the Utah bunch, the compass and square crowd, etc.
What drew my attention to the ( ) was when I was driving down the road listening to a radio program whan an 85 yr old lady called in and said she could not go the church any more but she still had fellowship with Jesus when she listened to her quartet music and the host said she would go to hell for that!! The Bible says that you will be judged the way that you have judged others. I had a long conversation with that fellow at the radio station. It was sad. |
