Thanks, TB. Tell the truth... you've always wanted to be Elvis, right?

Now Kerbie, how much do you think a 55 with Elvis's spittle on it would pull in??? I've heard his hankerchiefs from concerts fetch thousands! (He would wipe his brow and toss them into the crowd)

Haha... I bet it would bring in a lot! Maybe we could get hold of one of those. One of my buddies grew up hanging out and shooting pool with him.

Almost done! Super. I think the auction is more than simply getting a deal on a classic Mic. It is about supporting the AGF. I use this site most everyday and have always wanted to help out if I could. I am pleased that this has raised some $ for the forum. Kerbie and the other Mods put in some valuable time on this, and, in reality were the ones who were able to make this happen.
If I had more knowledge I may have been able to participate more in forum threads 😬, but one should do what one is able to, and hey! I had the mic already, right?
While this may not change the world as we know it, perhaps someone else may have an item that could be sold for the benefit of the AGF. If THIS is a one time thing…fine. We have done something, at least. This forum is easily the best I know of and I do not mind investing in this manner. It has been quite interesting I must say.
Whomever has the final bid, thank you for stepping up. Remember this…YOU are the one who is contributing, I simply supplied the item. And thanks for EVERYONE who bid.
Like playing in a band, everyone contributes to the sound.

Sounds sweet to me….

Thanks jj... for making this possible. Very kind of you.

The bid is $185. We can do better than that. Auction ends this afternoon at 5 pm EST. Let's go higher!

Elvis and Frank...
