Default taylor ga3

is the taylor ga3 a decent model? i see they no longer make them.i have never owned a taylor but have a chance to get this one for 700$,in minty cond,just was curious,,

They still make it. It's the 314 now.
Seven bills is a better than decent price for a nice 3-series.

That's about 40% cheaper than new. Well worth it for sure.

Hi Goldfox, Taylor merged their "acoustic" line with their "acoustic electric" line a couple of years ago. So, what was previously a GA3 is now known as a 314. Add in a cutaway and it's a 314c. Add in electronics and it's a 314ce.

I say if you like the way the GA3 plays, buy it. That's a great price.

I have the 2004 model 214 which is basically a GA3/314 with a satin top. It has solid sapele b/s. I really like the guitar. I've always been a fan of the grand auditorium size and it sounds good fingerpicked or strummed. Just one guys opinion.

I have owned my Taylor GA3 now for a couple of years. It's a great all-around guitar. $700 is a fine price for a used one in good condition.
