amazon has pedals for around 20-30 each. I got a reverb, delay, and over drive. They actually sound great for just playing around the house.

Very happy with this setup that I use for solo gigs. The MOSAIC pedal does a very good job of simulating 12 string guitar sounds. Case is a BOSS BCB-6.

I plug my K&K-equipped dread into the effects and then into my Fishman Performer amp. Sounds great!

Some effect pedals are awesome and some are not. I stick with the true bypass analog style ones myself.

I like a chorus, reverb and vibe effects
It all depends on your style and where you want to go with it

This is my pedalboard. The reverb and amp modeler are used only when I'm doing open mics and I don't want to drag 42 pounds of amp around. These are all electronic clones of equivalent Boss pedals. The most expensive pedal is the reverb at $45.

Lots of interesting recommendations above. But I'll repeat what I said above: The pedals others like aren't necessarily the ones you'll like. Only you know the sounds in your head.

So take it slow, be willing to try and discard, and build the board that's right for you. It takes a while, but that's part of the fun of it.

Milkman F-Stop for reverb and tremolo and a Boss Chorus pedal. Not sure what you want when you say etc... But delay is another common pedal and again Boss makes great delays.

It's pretty funny to me to see all these budget pedals on a site where people are spending stupid money on acoustics. Most of you would laugh if you knew the amount of money I have in pedals.

I will say this, Chinese guitars get a lot of crap here, but Behringer and Amazon pedals are OK???

Yes to Behringer pedals, and here's why: https://www.google.com/search?q=what...JZa8yCMCQ,st:0

Also, Chinese guitars get a lot of praise here as well.

That's because some of us are actually musicians that don't base opinions on where the gear was made or how much it cost, but rather whether it works or not for the need we have.

1. In my personal experience, confirmed by talking to other musicians: Behringer had done a good job of replicating the SOUNDS of the Boss pedalsÂ…BUTÂ…they will not lastÂ…the build quality for durability just isnÂ’t there.

2. Amazon pedals are hit and miss.

I never said not to use them, just that it's funny to me all the money people spend around here and are suggesting cheap pedals.

Your sig line is proof of that.

My initial point was that Behringer pedals are a good way to find out what you want without spending a fortune. Due to their plastic construction, they may not survive a heavy foot for long. For me, they are pretty much "set and forget," so they will likely out-live me!

BTW, looking online, I see a lot of references to the plastic cases potentially being a problem, but none saying they have actually been a problem. The cases, although made of plastic, are pretty hefty.

Any noticeable sound quality difference between the Line6 POD and POD Express??
