Thumbs up

Congrats! Beautiful looking guitar! Enjoy playing and bonding with your guitar!

Is this guitar’s neck thickness considered as Medium? As in your Poll thread.

Thanks!

Yes, haven't measured it but I'm guessing this one falls in the .83 - .84 range. I'd prefer it a little fatter, but it's certainly playable as it is.

Congratulations! I love my OM1-t with a baked top. The clarity and sustain of a Collings OM really is something. Enjoy it in good health!

I fell in love with one of these but couldn't handle the price at the time. Great guitars, congrats.

Congrats!!! An OM2H with a baked top ruined me 5 years ago. I haven’t been the same since! Glad you were able to make it work and grab a truly special instrument. Enjoy every note!

Sounds like a great buying experience and definitely a sweet guitar, well done.

I'd like to get up there and visit MSG someday.

That looks awesome. Congrats! I've been spending quite a bit of my time with my Collings lately, after being monopolized by my Waterloo. I put some new John Pearse PB's on it, after bouncing through various sets of Elixirs, Martins, D'addarios, and I'm back home to the John Pearse. They just sound great, especially bass strings, give them a try on your Collings at some point!

Succumbing to the guitar that grabs you is a great way to start the day! Enjoy that beauty. Collings instruments also improve with age so enjoy a relationship that will continue to deepen. She’s a beaut!

Congratulations on the new OM1T!

Maple Street is indeed a top notch shop too.

I have to chuckle every time I hear someone say about their first Collings, “I couldn’t get the sound out of my head, went back the next day and…..”. Know what, the exact same thing happened to me back in the ‘90’s in Austin, and I’m far from the only one who could recite the same words. It’s uncanny, really, a tale that gets told and retold among Collings players.

Yours is a real beauty, and as it continues to reveal itself to you I hope you come to cherish it.

Oh yes, here’s the spot for the obligatory “it likely won’t be your last Collings”, and I mean that in the best possible way. Play on!
