This short scale Bronco was a scratch and dent from Guitar Center purchased for a sneeze. The case was Amazon. It plays better than it has any right too!

The Telecaster is a Vintage Modified Special from 2012. The Fender chrome ash tray and Reverend triple string tree were from me and the Strap is a Franklin Ball Glove Leather. I haven’t decided on a case yet.

These two Squiers came to the compound two days apart.

A lowly Squier Jazzmaster 40th anniversary vintage edition. I am shocked at how good this guitar is.

A couple more Squier 40th. Strat in Seafoam And Tele in Dakota Red hanging out on my grungy porch. And got pretty lucky with their weights, strat a couple ozs below 7lbs, tele a couple ozs above.

I'm stunned at how good these both feel.

Bought them a couple weeks ago from ProAudioStar for $250 each. The cheapest now seem to be about $290, but it would still be well worth it. I'm honestly having a hard time not picking up another strat for future mods.

I have longed for a Sherwood Green Stratocaster but felt they had become unicorns. So, when I came across this 2019 FSR Japanese Hybrid 50s Stratocaster, I had to buy it, even though I felt my buying days were over. Alder body, USA-made black bobbin Fender USA 57/62 pickups featuring staggered, beveled alnico magnets and cloth-covered leads, one-piece maple neck, USA-made CTS pots, a two-point vibrato unit, 9.5" neck radius, 5-way selector switch and Gotoh Magnum Lock Top locking tuners.

My last guitar purchase was actually about 18 months ago.
Got this 2003 Jim Olson SJ.
It had a few lacquer delam areas, so I sent it to Jim.
He suggested the best option was to completely resand/refinish the entire guitar.
The result he said, "Was better than the original new condition!"
Of course I was thrilled with the result!!

From a close friend on the Heritage forum, I bought the very first heritage built H535 (center block like a ES335), with P90s, and a special wineburst merlot finish by Heritage founder Marv Lamb. It's a GREAT guitar. Beefy neck and the Lollar P90s sound perfect in it! It came with the ultra wood package, RS wiring harness so CTS superpots and PIO caps, Faber nickel locking bridge with screw in posts, Faber lightweight aluminum tailpiece, Kluson vintage style tuners (H535s typically come with Grovers). `It is the perfect guitar for me.



I added a Mojoaxe built pickguard as I very rarely play a guitar without one. I anchor my pinky on them to help in the way that I play fingerstyle.

That one's a bit of a rare bird, and a perfect example of how the Brooklyn Gretsch operation often used whatever parts were on hand to complete an instrument. As a '67 model yours dates from the Baldwin transition era and, while IMO it's constructed entirely from genuine Brooklyn parts, it's kind of a cross-pollination of Anniversary and post-1962 Electrotone Tennessean features: while the Bigsby was a non-catalog Double Annie option, more often associated with the Brian Jones-approved green 6118 than the jazzbox-looking sunburst (most post-1960 trem-equipped models instead sported the Tone Twister screw-on - similar to Gibson's rare guitar-shaped Vibra-Rest in function and IME virtually useless in practice), the bar bridge and zero-fret fingerboard - assuming of course that both are original to the instrument - are traditionally associated with the Tennessean, as are the Van Ghent tuners (these in fact made their debut on the Double Annie by 1966 - 12-18 months before yours was built - and were used interchangeably with the open-back chrome-button Grovers seen on earlier versions, until existing stock ran out)...

BTW I see you also like the neck position on yours: I get some of my favorite Gretsch tones that way - sweet. clear, almost acoustic-sounding through the right amp...
