Yes. I use an LR Baggs Para DI. I plug my K14ce (with upgraded ES) into the DI. From the DI I use a 1/4-inch cable (Griffin Technology) to a 1/8-in stereo into my input of my MacBook (Intel-based duo-core). I obtain very good levels in which to record. Similarly, I have used an small Crate mixer and the DI with GarageBand.

I don't know anything about recording, but I got a 1/4 to 1/8 cable and plugged it directly from the ES to the Mac and was able to record with Garage Band fine.

Taylor ES systems seem to be totally incompatible with Intel Based Macs. You will either need to get the ES to Intel converter OR go back to a Fishman Taylor.

Reguardless of how great a pickup system is, you'll make a better recording with even a cheap condenser mic. I guarantee that this mic Link will make better recordings than any pickup system. All you have to do is plug the mic in a USB port, Mac or PC. A more expensive mic (and preamp) will sound better, but again this mic will sound better than any pickup. Even Taylor recommends recording with a mic. The only problem with mics is outside noise.

Default outside noise to an extreme degree!

We were forced into recording using the ES because the neighbor's house is a construction site, rebuilding their house. We're actually pretty happy with the results...on the myspace site below, the 2 songs using the ES are What Would It Hurt and Tickin' Time.

Sounds nice - you have some good looking myspace friends too!

I also have a recording of myself playing Doyle Dykes White Rose for Heidi on my website.

Recorded on my T5, position one, EQed with the Taylor ES, reverb with GarageBand on a PowerBook G4
