My favorite acoustic guitar pick so far is the Dunlop Ultex Sharp .73mm. I prefer this for all styles of music and with all my acoustics.

Of the many picks I have tried so far (including a few Blue Chips and Wegens) this pick best combines the positive features of a thin pick and a thick pick. Love it.

Most commonly TS, same shape as a BC TPR, about 0.075" thick. Otherwise, a BC, TPR shape, 0.080" thick - or the same thing in 0.060" if I want something a little thinner.

Always in my pocket is my favorite cheap pick, a Dunlop 207. As much as I like the others, I could live happily if this was the only pick I owned.

Oh, and I use those on mandolin and electric guitar as well.

These, depending on the instrument and the gig...

Like Todd, I keep a less expensive pocket pick with me all the time, but it is a fine pick!

Dunlop Ultex 1.14

Kydave,

You have more money in picks than I have in guitars

Yes, I am a bit jealous.

Dunlop 2.0 most of the time.

Sometimes a 1.5.

Not too keen on anything thinner; they seem 'floppy' to me and I'm more likely to hit the wrong string, or so it seems.
