Default Would you like some fretboard with that inlay?

Nope. I admire the artistry, but I like my guitars clean and simple. I don't even like abalone purfling or bridge inlays, and would choose a blank fretboard if I had my 'druthers.

That's a beautiful guitar, Jon. I don't think I've seen wood purfling before, and I like it. It's understated and very pretty.

I feel there's always a balance in everything. That guitar is way out of balance. I like the artsy but not everyone inlays on most Martin D-4x series and upper end Gibsons as well as the Cindy inlay on Taylor 914s. I don't like just plain old dots but I'll take that as long as I get fretboard binding - gotta have that, love how it feels.

Its a beautiful fretboard, but I'd be scared about issues if it ever needed
refretting - but I guess if you can afford it, thats not an issue -

Is that arabic script on it? Maybe for a personalized guitar?

Ditto for me. I like the clean ebony on my classical guitars.

Great skill and effort went into that fingerboard. For the sake of the artist who made it let's hope someone will like it enough to pay for it.

It is not my cup of tea, but there are enough people out there that would love it.

Nope!
The style with side markers and just one inlay at 12th fret has been growing on me.
