Default How do you tune & use your baritone guitar?

The poll about where players prefer to tune their standard six string guitars got me thinking about how people tune and use their acoustic baritone guitars. I just posted a poll asking about attitudes towards acoustic baritone guitars, now this poll is asking those of you who have them how you tune and use them.

One thing: you'll notice that there's a list of options for how you tune the instrument. The software only allows 100 characters per poll option, so I didn't have room to add "tuned at the same intervals as standard guitar tuning" on any of those options.

When you look at the options about tuning B to B, C to C, etc., that's what I'm asking. If you tune B to B but it's an open tuning of some sort, please check the "I use an alternate/open tuning" option.

Thanks in advance for your participation. This poll does allow you to check more than one option, so please check all that apply.

Mine stays tuned to C#. I use a capo to switch to D or E tuning.

Moderators - I screwed up, and failed to use the option allowing participants to check more than one choice. Can you get in and reset it to allow that?

Moderators - never mind. I re-wrote the poll and THIS time I went down to the "Miscellaneous options" and selected multiple choices.

Please close the original thread where I screwed that up. Drive-south, I put in an option for tuning to C# in this latest, corrected version.

Thanks, and sorry for the confusion.

Wade has asked that this thread be closed and that the reworked poll on this thread be used: http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=390092

Thanks,
