Thanks Aspiring. It IS here and it is a CANNON! The tone is warm and crisp at the same time. And it is amazingly balanced up and down the neck and across the frets.
Cindy and Steve agree it is the loudest JK yet. And it is super comfortable to hold and play.
Well done Sir John!!!
More soon…..

It looks way more red on the top than it is as I am sitting under a red patio umbrella…. Don’t I look HAPPY???
Thank You John

Cheers gang

PS. Just sent this to John:

It is spectacular! Sound is huge and extremely balanced too. How can it be crisp and warm at the same time?
Cindy and Steve say it is incredibly LOUD and still BEAUTIFUL sounding.
And it is very VERY comfortable both to play and to hold.
Easy on the eyes and ears both!

More soon…

Paul

There you are Paul and there is your new axe to boot. I am very pleased to get you two together, and even more pleased that you like what you see and hear.

John

Super pleased myself, and quite impressed!!!

I expect the tunnel 14 redwood (as well as John’s skills) has a lot to do with the tone of this thing.

Wow!

And, a shout out to United States Postal Service, who got this to me in about 36 hours from Asheville to San Diego!

some kind of new land/air speed record… Ha ha

Cheers

Paul

It's here!!!!! OK- more motivation to leave my wonderful mountain home (now that it has been gorgeous spring weather) and head south to check this out! It looks beautiful and I'm sure the tone is spectacular.

I look forward to hearing it (and maybe playing it!) soon.

Congratulations John and Paul!

Smile Happy Sunday to all

Thanks Beth! There are FIVE of John’s recent guitars here at the moment!

Steve is visiting and brought his really wonderful Koa/cedar big gun. No cut away on Steve’s.
It sounds wonderful already, and it’s just starting to wake up to the fact that it’s a guitar.

Thank you, Tom, I will relay your best wishes to Cindy and I’m sure she will return them for you guys! I sure do!!!

It’s an embarrassment of riches around here. These guitars are spoiling me for anything else.

I will try to get a family portrait up here soon…

Thank you very much, John!

Everybody have a great Sunday and play fun and beautiful music…

Paul

Family portrait of my four guitars by John Kinnaird, and Steve’s new Koa JK. It’s the one with no cut away.

Hey Canuck, I play a LOT. My other guitars are getting lonely, though…

Thanks Tom. Your collection dwarfs mine, though my instruments may well be BIGGER. Hahah

These are BIG guitars. The larger 3 are about the size of a Taylor Grand Orchestra, or a Gibby Super Jumbo (J200, etc.). 16 7/8” lower bout.

The newest and oldest are about the size of a Taylor Grand Symphony or a Gibson Advanced Jumbo, with 16.25” lower bout

All have the JK Pablo Package. Carbon Fiber D tube in the neck, front and back bevels, Manzer wedge, etc, etc….

Cheers

Paul
