What tuning do you use for these?

9-7 are E, A, D, tuned an octave below standard tuning for 6-1.

Oh, my Lord...those are incredible. Love the hounds with the integrated names placed uniquely for each guitar. Way to go, Dad!

Emerald is just killing it in custom CF work. Mr. Hay's work is simply marvelous!

Even the offset soundhole is growing on me- geez I have to stay away from this forum !

Those are very nice!! I have never seen the carbon weave before. WOW! It just looks kinda grey in the small pic, but the bigger pic shows the amazing colour.

Many people will fawn over the nice body work, artistry and all that. Don't get me wrong, it's stunning! However I took note of the saddle as I am an intonation nut! That is a very custom saddle I love how he worked out the break points and string height. It is artistry that is most necessary! Serious skill there.

This is art that you bought to play. If it won't play in tune... it's just art. That is what sets guitar builders apart in the art world. Functional beauty.

I had no idea that something like this was possible or existed ! The color, the headstock, the names and hound....more than amazing. A work of art is correct. Congrats and thanks for sharing those !

That's why I named them after my daughters!

I am rarely at a loss for words, but these two guitars and the consideration behind them really moved me (the reason I could only get out a "Wow!" when I first saw this thread).

How absolutely great to have the pair of nylon and steel, with the dedication to your daughters!

While I would love to hear your impressions on these instruments, a video of you playing each would very special.

Oh, and... WOW!

Best wishes,
Jim
