...with a modified 2012 Taylor 914
- Engelmann Top
- Short Scale
- 1 11/16 Nut width


- will the short scale "over-warm" the warm sound of engelmann? if so, should I just go with Sitka?
- can the guitar handle lower tunings?
- is the short scale really that good? (based on what I read, no chance to play one)
- I like fingerstyle, moderate strumming, and John Mayer-style playing. Is this guitar right for me?
- I already tried a Taylor 814 so I have an idea what a sitka/rosewood GA would sound, I haven't played any engelmann top guitar so what can you say about this particular topwood?
