Default Homespun and Stefan Grossman's software

This is neat stuff. Here's a screen shot of the two programs open on my desktop. On the left is Homespun's and on the right is Stefan's. As you can see I'm a guitar tab/lesson junkie. I just bought Al Petteway's Blues Guitar Arrangements in DADGAD (and got a free 1 song lesson also). This is the software that you get when you buy the instant download products. The tab for these songs and lessons come in PDF format which I save in folders and either print out or keep open and refer to it when needed.

So with this stuff and just discovering OneNote my guitar life has good organization. I practiced for an hour and a half tonight, life is good.

Hi-

So I'm very interested in getting Al Pettaways DVD but I'm wondering if he breaks down his lessons or just plays them slowly? Does he break it down section by section and explain what he's doing like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CYKtIu2oro ??? I cal learn this way so well. Anyone have any input or experience with this? Thank you!

I only just watched him play the song he teaches in the free lesson I received. I've seen that video that you presented and that's the basic formula that Homespun and Stefan Grossman uses. All the lessons I have from Homespun have the teacher take his/her time showing you what they do, a few times, alternative approaches, ect.
