I have not acquiesced to GAS in the last five years. I've lusted after a few instruments, and come close to pulling the trigger, but I always step back from the precipice. I really don't have the space, nor particularly the interest in adding to my my inventory of 11 eleven instruments.

Thanks to having a couple of very serviceable guitars (Martin OM-21 and Eastman AC710S) plus other budgetary priorities, almost 6.5 years.

Default Gas Free

I'll be GAS-free as soon as I complete the 12 Step Program. Right now, I count only 7 steps, just 5 more to acquire.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Since I understood it's all about building skills and learn the music language properly, that's my teacher's achievement and furthermore he won't let me buy one (I'm 32btw). So I stick to my 3 year old gs mini (my only guitar) where I'm practicing full on and study music till I'm ready and know what and why i want the guitar for before spending so much money. I want a beautiful sounding tool, don't mind waiting anymore. Skills-knowledge are so much more addictive to acquire imho.
So a suggestion to anyone interested :find the best teacher you can . For the ones who have the skills, knowledge and money: just make beautiful music.
