Default Christmas humidifier

I got a small room humidifier for Christmas and I can finally use it. It has been warm and rainy ever since Christmas until yesterday. It is now cold and dry. The humidity in my music room went from 32% this morning to 48% in a matter of hours. It is holding steady at 44%, even when the heat comes on, and it is only running at medium output.

I am a happy camper right now.

Just wondering what humidifier brand/type you got. I have a small vaporizer but it's not quite cutting it.

I got this one:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B013UJS35G/...b_recs_3_title

Here are the specs from there web site:
Quiet and healthy, TaoTronics ultrasonic humidifier silently infuses your room with clean moisturized air, so you can enjoy a clean, crisp and odorless air around you

Extra fine ceramic filter filters out water impurity, harmful bacteria and bad odor at molecular level, leaving you with a clean and pure water vapor

Double 360° rotatable mist nozzles output mist in two directions simultaneously, maximum output of 330 ml/h (0.08 gal/h) quickly filling a large space of up to 150 m3 / 5297 ft3.

Classic control knob adjusts the amount of mist flow nice and easy; the humidifier shuts off automatically when detects low water with a warning red LED indicator

Large 3.5 L / 0.92 gal. water tank means you get up to 10 hours of continuous mist without refilling, ideal for home and office use

Does the filter work?

Decades ago I bought a mist humidifier. Everything in the room got coated with a fine film of impurities from the water that got dropped out when the water evaporated.
