Blueridge BR-40-12?
So I've been in the market for a budget 12 string for some time now (straight acoustic - no electronics) and just haven't found anything that looked good, until now.
I stumbled across the BR-40-12 from Blueridge and it looks like it's got a lot of nice features - solid top, bone nut and saddle. I'm assuming laminate b/s, but since I'm looking at budget line for an occasional player, that'd be fine by me. And at sub-$500, the price is definitely right. I know Blueridge tends to get a lot of praise here, so I was wondering if anyone had this particular guitar, and if so please chime in. Thanks!

Not a 40 but I've had this 160-12 for 5 years and for $600 it's a beast!
I would call Maury's Music to get the best price on any Blueridge model you might be looking for. BR-40's are great guitars, happy hunting.

Maury's doing them for $486.00 http://www.maurysmusic.com/inc/sdeta...r_40_12/100168
Good looking guitar for the money and certainly has some good 12-string 'starter' points like the jumbo body size and I notice the strings at the bridge are set up like a Guild with the primary strings closest to the saddle and the octaves at the rear.
