Default Taylor and "Natural" guitars

What does it mean when a Taylor guitar is a "Natural"?

Glues or finished different?

Why is it important?

Natural refers to the top wood. Not a sunburst or otherwise tinted, top wood.

I'm with Barry (^). When Taylor states "natural" they're talking about the 'color' of the top. It's the natural look of the top (with gloss). Not a colored or burst top.

It's possible it also applies to the back but I don't know.
