Are you any good at figuring out what alternate tuning is used?
I've been trying to work out this tune for a bit, but just can't figure out the tuning first off. I've seen it online as open C tuning, but the tabs I found go everywhere from standard tuning to an F# tuning. Very frustrating. Once I figure out the tuning it shouldn't be too hard to play the song. Oh ya, after it's tuned properly it's capo'd on the 3rd.
Here's the video and I'd appreciate any help. Thanks. http://youtu.be/Y7sVoZcSKdc

Other than seeing it this first time, I'm not familiar with the song. I would think that between knowing the song in your head, seeing the tab and watching how he plays it online, it would be rather obviously what tuning he's using. You can see the shapes he's playing, the strings he's using, etc.
