Default a good guitar weekend

I've been considering selling my GS-Mini. I love it and I bought it thinking my youngest daughter (the music lover) would have one to play. I love the GS-Mini but I have four guitars and feel almost selfish having so many nice guitars.

Saturday I got up, coffee on the patio overlooking my duck pond and had one of my best play/practice sessions ever. Everything just clicked and went perfectly. Learned a couple new songs that I enjoy, too.

Sunday morning, I repeated with another nice day playing where my guitar really was helping me out.

Sunday afternoon, I find my daughter teaching herself a song on the GS-Mini (I never said a word to her other than that is the guitar she can play if she ever wants to). She has taught herself a D, G and B chord and a simple song.

I learned to play when I was her age and didn't know anything. She is already ahead of me for her age.

So, it was a good day for acoustic guitars around my house this weekend.

Sounds like a priceless moment, Congrats. I have a friend who has 2 GS-Minis, very fine guitars.

People underestimate just how important the father is as a role model in a child's life, particularly in the teen years.

Nice job there, Dad!
