Harmony price check please.
I came across a listing for a 37", 12 fret, slot head, Harmony guitar on my local Craigslist. The owner isn't sure of the year or model. Owner's listing says it's in "nice shape". Asking price is $30. Anyone know what model it is? May be worth a quick trip to take a look at? Thanks for the help.

Save your gas for better things - this one's Asian manufacture (most likely Chinese, mid/late-90's) and IMO worth no more than $25 in absolute brand-new condition; if it were a slot-head from the '30s-40s I'd say grab it - there aren't too many survivors...

Great information to have! Was wondering if it is "trash or treasure". Now, I know -- thanks!
I asked the seller for the serial number after he replied that he doesn't know the model or year. However, he hasn't replied to my request for the serial number. Made me think I'd best seek more information else where, both on the web and AGF. Thanks for helping me save the gas that I could have used for the drive there and back.
