Dan

I ordered it the first week of April, and I received it today. My understanding from my dealer is that Taylor is currently completing 5 BTOs per day, and the lead time is growing due to the extra attention to detail and the growing popularity of the BTO program.

Remember- this sound isn't for everybody. If you're used to spruce or cedar, this might not appeal to you. On the other hand, IMO, this is what all-koa guitars wish they could sound like!

So, if you have any way of making some clips, esp. if you can make them straight acoustic using a mic, that would be awesome!!
I guess that you'll have to consider this thread useless then.... I've just gotten up to speed with posting photos!

Not sure whether you're referring to Matt's or mine. As for me, my Cujo and Pelican are way too good to have reason to be jealous. My Larrivee may have to take a back seat for a while....

I think it's the same place you bought yours:

Looks like this one has sold, too.

Oops, that one IS yours . . . but they call it quilted mahogany, not quilted sapele.

Yeah that's mine. In the interest of political correctness, I try to reserve the word "mahogany" for tropical American mahogany only. Others are bolder than I....
