That album was HUGE to me - came out at just the right time, was the first time I saw TP (and he was phenomenal), it was the soundtrack of a particular time in my life. Kind of made me a fan for life, and if it hadn't some of his other stuff would have. I played this song for the first time a few days ago and I figured if I was gonna record it, I should do it while it still felt kind of raw, in case I somehow polished it up over time, because that would seriously miss the point!

Great one Ray. Keep em coming boys and don’t forget Traveling Wilburys.

Well, Bob, I’ve been working on Free Fallin, and Last dance for Mary Jane. But as I mentioned on one of Tim’s threads, haven’t had the urge to press record on the iPhone recently. Maybe that’ll change one of these days.

Nice. I’m messing around with a few all the time, waiting for one to gel. Right now it’s Room at the Top, which is way out of my lane Here's a great over of it, I call this Find and Show! Lots of emotion here, right after his passing.

Sadler Vaden on lead guitar... monster guitarist (as is Jason)...

This is a great video. I was fortunate to see TP in KC on June 2nd, 2017... almost 7 years ago now...

Glad you guys liked it. Being a bass ackwards kind of guy, I've been a JI fan for much longer than I've been into TP! But I see a whole bunch of similarities between them as songwriters, their bands, the arcs of their careers. Was Southeastern Jason's version of Wildflowers? I'm hoping he has more masterpieces to come!
