Default G7TH Capo Company Love

I have been using a G7th Performance Capo since 2009 and I love them. I now have a BIG reason to love the company (Nick and Simon) even more. I purchased my second G7th Performance (2) capo a few months ago and recently something happened to it and I still can't figure out how it happened. Any way, I contacted Nick and asked how I could fix the problem. He wrote back and said he would replace the capo and offered me a fantastic capo. Anyway to make a long story short the man behind the company is inspiring (and funny - see youtube April fools video). He stands behind his product and lives up to his promises. Also a big thanks to Simon for acting very quickly to get my new capo to me.

Cheers to a great product and a great company owner.

Sorry to Simon for changing his name to Nick on the original 4th line. :-)

+1 on Nick's attention to customer support. I recently made a post here about how I was having trouble with my G7th and asking if anyone knew how I might be able to make adjustments to fix the problem. Nick contacted me and asked me a few questions, then requested that I send him a couple of photos of the capo. Then he voluntarily sent me a new capo. Wish all vendors I buy from would offer a similar level of service!

Nice to read about such champions dedicated to customer satisfaction. I'm sure there'll be a G7th capo in my future. Not to derail this thread...I hope it's ok if I give a shout-out to Alistair Hay of Emerald Guitars for the same level of attention to ensuring their customers are completely happy with their instruments.

I own most of the capos there are including the most expensive, but the one I use is the original G7th Performance, quick, reliable, great tone, easy to use. Have been meaning to say "thanks."

+1, I love mine, it's simple, easy to use and works on everything with 6 strings. I like the newer model mods but as long as this one still works well, I think I'll just have to wait.

I like mine also. Plus Nick seems like a good guy, he comes on this forum once in a while and seems for good at customer support, and asking for people's opinions on what they want for a capo.

Thank you for the kind words. I like to play the guitar... I've found that I seem to like most people who also play the guitar and I'm sure you'd do the same in my position!

I don't know much about capo's because I don't use one a whole lot, but I love my G7th

I have been thinking about trying a different capo and this thread convinced me to make that a G7th!

I'm very happy with all of mine (I have several).

Nice to hear when a vendor has great service. We're usually pretty quick to scream when it's not and not so quick when it is.

I sent this to Nick, but thought I'd share it here since this is an active thread and it's pertinent.

You can't buy this kind of advertising. Well you could, but you'd have to sell a few million capos to make it work out.

The 'Newport' model was the one that convinced me. That's why I'm now endorsing their products.
