If electrics qualify, of which I have 2, then I have 6 all up.

Way more then 5, but this time last year, it was just 1, my OS315 parlor. I have put a lot of time and effort into what I have and rotate through them while practicing and playing.

Default how many

No electrics, and have never even played one not even once. (I've never smoked either.) But more acoustics than I need, but not necessarily more than I might want. I'd sell one or two if I could mange to feel guilty enough. Trying to bring myself to that, not there yet.

I have a few, but a few are under $500 and one only cost $99 (classical). I would like to get a couple more though before I retire.

I'm in the too many camp, but no intentions to acquire more, or letting any go. If I move, there may be some that I may need to get rid of, probably more inclined to sell some of my Martins more so than my Gibsons,

Sold them all 20 days ago. Got the guitar that I've always dreamed of (SCGC OM Cocobolo/Spruce). I had 4 (Jackson USA King V, Guild D-55, Martin CS-00028, Yamaha classical).

Six...because that it is how many my guitar stand holds. I have the "one in one out" rule.
