Default Why do new Martin guitars smell different then others??

Well, I guess the title says it all. I have always wondered why Martin guitars have such a distinctive smell when they are new? I've owned plenty of other new guitars but the Martins are different. What's this about?

Thanks!

Any reason you posted the same topic twice when you already have several responses in the other one?
