Fantastic TRC! It'll be a conversation starter.

I like the pickguard too. Not sure if I consider it an upgrade but more of a change. It does make the guitar look different though.

That trussrod cover looks great - now I'm tempted.

I have a 414 of similar vintage; its only "dressing up" has been new frets and bone nut.
