Default Earthwood Nylon on a Seagull soundclip

Ok, these turned out to be a little better than I thought they would be. I let these sit a day to stretch. I bought a set of the Earthwoods ball end nylons and strung up my Seagull folk so I can do some classical right hand work. I want to get the feel of doing rest strokes vs free strokes etc. I guess I could do it on steel, but I thought I would be better feedback from the nylon strings.

Nylon on Seagull {could be a song title in there somewhere ):

Here's a link to the strings:

Earthwood Nylon with ball ends

I have a classical, but its haunted.

I will tune the guitar to pitch and over time the EAD strings will stay in tune with each other and the GBE strings will stay in tune with each other, but the D and G won't be in tune. Figure that one out. For $99 you get what you pay for

Nylon Seagull - sounds like a prog rock band from the late 1960's ... up there with Iron Butterfly!

The trebles sound muted, but overall the nylon strings sound better than I would expect on a guitar built for steel strings. If you decide you want to upgrade your classical without spending a lot, you might want to look at the La Patrie line from Godin. Like Seagulls, they are well built and great guitars for the money.
