Default Pickup wiring question

Just got a mojotone nc-passive pickup and I want to wire it up to the extra slot on my ultratonic pickup.

Now the nc-passive has red white and bare wires. Bare is to ground, red to tip and white to sleeve. When I wire up to the ultra tonic am I joining the red and white, grounding one of them or just taping one off?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

You want the two pickups to be in phase. If both pickups at the same time is dramatically lower volume and missing bass response, you’re going to need to reverse red and white. Start with red to the output, white plus bare to ground. Exchange red and white if there is a phasing problem.

You need an active mixer to blend passive piezo with passive magnetic.
