Default Another Lindsay Straw video has dropped

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C49plrqqVes

I’ve admired her playing on the Carter Vintage demos for some time. In fact, she’s partially responsible for my guitar purchase from Carter earlier this year.

Lately, she’s been posting her tunes with accompanying tab on her YouTube page. For me, her fingerstyle tunes are just the right amount of challenge. Lovely playing, beautiful voice and great traditional tunes.

Thank You! It's nice to hear artists do traditional folk songs and Lindsay does an admirable rendition!

I just stumbled across her and she's fantastic. I watched her "Why you need a parlor guitar" video but didn't look further into her work and came across her again. Glad I did, lots of good stuff.

Just the type of fingerpicking I want to learn to play better. Singer-songwriter stuff.

I’ve learned both the Em version and the Am version of Omie Wise. Both are fun to play but the Am one I play a lot, enough so that a little improvisation is starting to creep in.

This is the first piece of hers that I have learned, although I play it somewhat more slowly. The Flowers of Magherally, I think.

She’s promised me an instrumental version of Wild Mountain Thyme which I hope drops soon.

I’m working on the Em version. I’ve about got it but I need to work on nailing it down solid and then speeding up. She plays it twice as fast as me.

I just ponied up for her Patreon for more sheet music.
