Default Ambertone or Sunburst?

My next purchase will be a Martin dread. Leaning towards a D-35... All my current guitars are natural, and I want some thing a little different. Can't decide between ambertone or sunburst ... I don't care about resale value...what say you? I know this has been discussed in the past, but wanted to take a new poll..

I love Ambertone. Sunburst is better on electrics in my opinion. If I were to get another Martin, I would definately be looking at Ambertone.

Sunbursts are not Martinesque. YMMV.

Ambertone looks great on a 35! That's what I would go for!

I love a good, dark burst, but dislike the too bright ones, but ..Martin ambertone is lovely.

IMHO Martin's current sunburst is too dark at the edges, and has sharp transitions between colors instead of an even transition.

I love the amberbtone. You can see the woodgrain through the burst, and the transition is much smoother.

Ambertone. I am a big fan of sunburst but I do not like Martin's sunbursts at all.

I've always loved the Ambertone, but I had seen a few that didn't work for me. I ended up falling for the '37 Burst. That would be my vote.

Not a fan of Martin's sunbursts. The ambertones are terrific.
