2022 Gibson Custom Shop 1942 Banner Southern Jumbo, sell or trade for Mahogany J-45
For sale or trade is my current model 2022 Gibson Custom Shop 1942 Banner Southern Jumbo.
Price is $3500 + $100 shipping. Trade accepted for current model Banner 1942 Mahogany J-45 or Murphy Lab J-45 + cash. It's an amazing guitar but I realized that I just want a basic mahogany J-45. For those that don't know, a Southern jumbo is a j45 with trapezoid inlays and rosewood back and sides (although j45s have also come in rosewood back and sides) And so that there is no confusion, this is the exact model guitar: https://www.gibson.com/en-US/Acousti...ntage-Sunburst I am the original owner, comes with all COA, and papers. As promised here are the photos.
There are 4 imperfections, they are pictured here. None of them go through to the wood. They are very minor and its difficult to see them show up in the photos but they are: 1. scratch or crack in the finish along the bottom bout close to the binding, about ~3.5 to 4 inches. its hard to see, looks like a super fine line. Very hard to see even in person. It only showed up when I turned the flash on. 2. Small indentation a few mm in size. 3. Small indentation a few mm in size. 4. the area above the strings is not a perfect, there are a few pick marks here and there is indication that the guitar has been played. In my personal opinion, i think it is just some oil from where a players hand has been playing the guitar. I also believe that it can be cleaned but this guitar has a VOS finish and i cleaning it may alter the factory VOS finish. I DO have virtuoso polish and cleaner and im happy to use it on this guitar if you choose to buy or trade but i will leave that up to the next owner. This is essentially a new guitar, less than a month old in my hands, and Im the original owner. I apologize if there are some other tiny little imperfection but I went through the guitar very closely and these were all I could find, but Im only human if you happen to find something else, my apologies. The guitar sounds amazing, brilliantly voiced guitar. Selling/trading because I changed my mind and just want a mahogany one.
