I get that, but doesn’t it seem strange that the Mid Tension G string has a lower tension than the Light Tension G string?

Guess I’ve been out of the loop but I only recently discovered that these strings are on the market. I am intrigued and hope to try some soon. I play a dread tuned down a whole step and like med-light strings but they’re sometimes too light and don’t intonate properly with my particular setup. True mediums are good for intonation but slow me down on the bends etc. I’m thinking these SCGC strings might be the perfect balance of the two.
