GS Mini Koa
Dang, these things are selling like hot cakes...
I ordered one Monday from Sweetwater, and I know that they sold at least one more on Monday with 4 still showing in stock... they're gone with more on the way. If you want one you better get on the ball... |

I've been enjoying this one since December. It's taken awhile for the sound to grow on me. It definitely shines played fingerstyle.

Out of curiosity, is that koa top solid or laminated? I can't imagine Taylor using a laminated top but still, with the price of koa it wouldn't surprise me if they had to in order to keep it affordable.

Solid. Laminate back and sides.

I got one from LA Guitar Sales. Might want to look there. I think the GS mini e koa FLTD was the best sounding GS mini to date. Too bad I just got it in January and Dread jr came out...I'm happy I got the laminate back and sides since its a travel guitar I don't have to worry as much unlike the Martin solid wood Dread Jr. I think its a standard model now, not a FLTD for 2015 - more will be in store startin April 2015

Oh, I forgot, Gryphon may have a GS Mini E Koa - I remember when I was thinking about ordering from them they said they had 15 of them in stock back in December.
