Just wanna have your opinion about your experience with those guitars. I'm really happy with mine but would be glad to hear some other's opinion about them

I'm a huge fan of Furch/Stonebridge. In my opinion they rival Collings, Santa Cruz, Bourgeois and Huss Dalton. I'm not saying they are better as a whole than those listed but they are as good in my opinion. My main stage guitar is a OM32SMDB. It's actually one of the better guitars I have owned included customs.

I have a G23CR-C (cedar, rosewood, cutaway) and it's a great guitar!! Attention to detail is great, sound is awesome and playability is outstanding!!

Default Your opinion about Furch/Stonebridge guitars

Haven't we had this discussion before or am I mistaking you for someone else?

There's lots of love for Furch here. Excellent guitars, lots of Taylor influence (they're friends if I remember correctly) but with their own voice and feel. In Europe at least they represent a lot of guitar for the money. I think they are less competitive in the USA as the costs of importing make them less interesting cost-wise when compared to, say, Taylor.

We have a beautiful OM23sf, spruce top, flame maple back and sides. A slim fingerboard comparable to Martin OOO rather than Taylor OM which is a joy to play and looks stunning.

One of the local shops is a Furch dealer, and although he doesn't stock a large variety, every Furch I've played there has been excellent. He's had a bridge separation issue with a couple, but other than that, they're top-level instruments with exceptional tone. Very lightly built guitars.

My local store had a limited edition OM in for a while... Adirondack top, ebony back and sides... it was exceptional. In a room full of very high end guitars it was one of only two that I would have taken home (but it was $7000).

Glad to hear it does, you seem to be pretty much a Gibson guy, which are the two others?

I saw a video on youtube with one of those, souded great, but didn't know it was that expensive! It's pretty unusual to see guitars with ebony B and S

A deep body must be great, did you order it at Furch/Stonebridge directly, or did you order it through Stageshop or another retailer?

My fave Gibby is the Southern Jumbo and then most likely the maple jumbo J-150. But thats wjy I appreciate the Furch with its Martinesque voicing, it complements the Gibson tone well. Also very versatile guitar.

I also tried a few and wasn't so amazed, only a OOM32-SM moved me.
It can be that I am no fan of the v neck and the 43mm nut (45 and 48 come as custom) width which make them hard to play for me!
