Default The proof is in the selling

I've had six sealed, fully boxed sets of Martin SP LifeSpan strings posted on ebay for some time now. Lowest price I see online for this particular gauge set is $8.99 plus shipping. I've had 6 sets posted for $39 for all six (shipped Priority) for two months and only have 8 hits ... 8 hits

either string sales on ebay are dead or, no one is searching for Martin SP's

Do you think it's the item (acoustic guitar strings) or the brand?

Or a third variable: the seller. (no offense)

In an age of counterfit strings, I'd be hesitant to buy a string lot like this off of ebay if it wasn't a known retailer.

Could also be if buyers haven't tried them before they don't want to spend $39 for 6 sets. What if they don't like them? Then they're stuck with 5 sets they don't like.
Try a different approach like 2 sets for $13.00, if that works do it again.

I've never bought strings on Ebay before. There are too many online dealers that have great prices and sometimes offer BOGO specials.

If fact my local GC just had a BOGO on Martin strings and I stocked up again.

I recently switched from mediums to lights, so I put up my remaining 14 packs of Gibson J-200 mediums on ebay for $60, free shipping. Sold in a day. You might need to lower the price if you really want to get rid of them.
