Default Just played a HD-28V and a 712e 12fret

Wow. The Martin was a bit more $$ than the Taylor, but both played great. Sounded different, apples and oranges, but I wouldn't mind taking them both home.

Default Sweet

I got a chance to play both the 12 fret and 14 fret fall limiteds. Although the feel of the 12 fret is amazing it sounds really boxy compared to its big brother. I have a 14 fret lined up just waiting for it to come in.

As for the Martin HD-28V I have one of them in a custom shop model and it is amazing! The adirondack top makes the world of a difference.
