Default NGD - Martin 000CNylon.

NGD - Martin 000CNylon. Sweet new addition around here. Might take me a little bit to get used to the wider neck, but she sure sounds sweet.

Not brand new, and will need much love to remove cigarette smoke smell, but I'm liking this guitar a lot already. Have some other 12 fret 000 guitars but this is my first nylon string since my old Yamaha Dynamic from the '60s.

Mellow nylon sound after all that steel you have...

Congrats on your new family member...Life in LUTZ is good!

Play in good health!

What I wasn't expecting was how good it sounds plugged in. It's the first 000 I've played with nylon things and a pickup. It's very light, and I'm pretty sure it's a keeper.

I was really impressed with one of those I picked up in GC, and I mean acoustically - I didn't try it plugged in.

Good choice!

Cool NGD! Martin 000C Nylon

CONGRATS on your new guitar. When I bought mine several years ago, I too was very impressed with the tone and volume...and it's great that it comes with Fishman electronics. It's my "go-to" guitar and I play mine almost every day.

What strings are you using? It came with Martins, and a spare set as well. Martin M120. I plan on making a new bone saddle to lower the action just a bit, and I seem to recall reading some other string recommendations about flat or semi-flat strings for the 000C Nylon?

I just wasn't expecting to love this nylon string Martin so much. Wow, plays so nice, sounds great. Still getting used to tweaking the tuners all the time, but it's cool.

The strings will calm down after a couple of weeks. Good news is that with nylon strings, you don't have to change them as often a steels strings.

Nice! Everyone should own at least 1 nylon string. The variation of tones is inspiring.
