Cool

All my 7 guitars are easy to play with good setup.

My GS Mini Koa is the most comfortable!

Yes…pretty much.

I don’t agree with that. Neck shape…curve, thickness and width are all factors. As are frets and fingerboard material. It’s just not that simple. ALL my guitars are set up well and they don’t all play the same.

G&L ASAT, Taylor 414 (latter after plekkage, though it was pretty good before).

Taylor GT K21e. 24 1/8” scale 1 23/32nd nut. A dream to finger or strum.

Haven't tried the K21e, but even the GT Urban Ash was really impressive and really comfortable to play.

Most of my guitars are set-up to play stress free. (I have one problem child going in for a set-up next week.) But two of my short-scales are more or less effortless to play.

1. Smaller guitars: my Collings OM2GSS, 1 23/32 nut. This guitar feels like cheating.

2. Large guitars: my Huss and Dalton DS-MSS, 1 23/32 nut. The easiest playing guitar with mediums I've played. First large guitar--of my maybe too many--that I reach for: just for how it plays.

Two guitars stand out to me. For electric it would be my old Gretsch Black Falcon. Hopefully my new Blue Falcon will keep pace. As for acoustic it would have to be Larry Jacobsen's Bashkin. A truly incredible example of modern Lutherie.

Both my Adamas I 2087GT-8 and Larrivee C-03 TE Tommy Emmanuel are easy-playing axes. Then again, so are my Taylors.
