Default Check out this ebay listing 'HD28VE or D28'

HD28VE or D28 ... that's the sellers heading not mine.
Check out the marks on the top!

What do you think?
Just polish out?

Default What the .....!

It looks like they had something stuck on there with double sided something or other. I certainly would have found a different way to do whatever they did........

This is a good reminder that you should never use glue to mount your compass, Garmin, and phone holder to your Martin.

This reminds me why friends don't let friends play their Martin when they are really drunk...
According to the seller, the marks are only in the lacquer finish and not the wood... right! I am thinking he set fire to tequila in a shot glass sitting on the top and watched it burn (three times). Oh, and the custom handle on the HSC made of white parachute cord is clearly an upgrade!

I couldn't think what caused those marks and I think you nailed it but it may have been 3 shot glasses in one hit rather than 1 shot glass 3 times? Who knows? I do know it's a waste of a nice guitar.

Why "HD28VE or D28"?? The hang tag in the picture says "HD28VE". Maybe the seller is just trying to pick up eBay searches for D28?
