Default Bastogne walnut/Swiss spruce Carrick

This guitar went out to The Fellowship of Acoustics in the Netherlands a few weeks back. It was commissioned by a client through their Dream Guitars Program. Unfortunately, in the time between ordering and delivery, the client had a change in personal circumstances and could no longer complete the purchase, so it's now available on the TFOA website.

I have no financial motivation here, the shop has already paid me in full for the guitar, but it's a lovely instrument featuring a truly stunning set of bastogne walnut, so I thought I'd post it here in case any European members may be interested.

There's no video clip as yet, I'll post later if they produce one.

Drew, I may have mentioned this another one of your build threads, but just wanted to reiterate how lovely I find the body shape on this model - so balanced and pleasing to the eye. Probably sits very nicely in one's lap, too!

Congrats and hope this finds a happy owner soon.

Thanks so much! That's good to hear, it was designed primarily as a fingerstyle "sitting down" guitar, so I wanted nice organic curves.

I've played this guitar a couple of months ago at TFOA and was honestly completely impressed.
Besides the looks of the guitar (which was really special), the sound of the guitar was simply wonderful.
I compared it to the other 2 Lowry guitars there and the Walnut was a clear winner for me.
Also the added benefit of the smell of bastogne walnut was great.
I almost bought the sitka EIR Carick model , which was a fine example of how the luthier is decisive in the quality of the instrument and sitka EIR combo can give a wonderful instrument.
My compliments Mr.Lowry , you build truly amazing guitars!
Kind regards Igor

I love that walnut set! I really enjoy when walnut has that slight purple/red coloring in it.

That is a beautiful guitar. And, I love the sound of walnut guitars.
