I really like the Se8's. In the past I have used a Rode NT-5 and an AKG Perception 150 and I thought they gave a brittle sound to the recording. For a long while I used LDC mics (two AT 2035 and lately two Warm Audio mics, a 47jr and a 14). I think the Se8 mics give me the best sound.
