Incredible D-28, patterned after a 1937 Martin. Built in 2016, I've owned it since 2017. VTS top. $5500 Im not looking for any trades, thank you for the offers.

Tone & Playability
Tone is rich, dark, and yet clear. Some nice complexity and warmth, but also very articulate–that tricky combo that's hard to find. Loud, with lots of headroom, but responds to a light touch as well. It's what you'd expect. Historically I've gone through a fair number of guitars, and have kept this one the longest of any, ever. I certainly have been happier with this guitar than anything else I've owned, from Santa Cruz, to Collings, Gibson, Martin, etc.

Setup & Condition
Strung and set up for 12's. Can certainly run 13s as well, with good action. No resets ever done, none needed. Minor fret wear, not worth mentioning. Condition is excellent. There are a couple of tiny impressions on the top too small to photograph, and a minor blemish on the side. No structural issues. Never had a binding issue.

If you want action height specifics, I have the measuring tools and such and can take a photo if you tell me what you want. Or come by and play it. For me the setup is ideal. Plays easy, no buzz.

I'm selling as I don't play acoustic much any more, and it seems a bit much to have this expensive a guitar sitting around. Time for a new owner to enjoy it for a good, long time. Hard to imagine anyone not loving this guitar.
